Our second record on Okra. Once again, this was recorded in a matter of days, in the summer of 1992. It's a more coherent record than No Easy Way and probably my favorite. I wanted to do a record without drums, just percussion, like a Count Ossie record, so we drafted in Martin's brother Tim. We also hooked up with two people who would be involved in all the rest of the Fellow Traveler records - Matt Stewart and John Harborne. Matt was and is a great engineer while John is a brilliant trombone player and arranger. The record includes some great dubs from Martin and some fine songs. It also got us noticed in Germany - it was voted record of the year by Spex Magazine.
