A bit of a departure this. I've long been an admirer of Ben Lamdin and Riaan Vosloo's group Nostalgia 77, a great jazz band. ‘Strange Faith and Practice’ is my version of a Nostalgia 77 record. Rather like Townes Van Zant wandering into a John Coltrane session. We recorded everything live over three days and had a great time.
