NO EASY WAY
In 1990 I got a call from Dan Dow, owner of Okra Records, asking if he could release some demos I’d recorded in New York with Dave Schramm. I said I’d rather record something new and he said fine. So I called Martin Harrison and Loraine Morley, and we went into the studio for two days. We didn’t think too much about it – I had some country songs, Loraine had a couple folky songs, and Martin played bass and produced. It was very easy and uncalculated.
