It was a pleasure - An American and an Englishman singing soul and country, recorded in Wales, mixed in Nashville, released in Japan.

Jeb Loy Nichols - Lover's Knot (1997)

This is the first Jeb Loy Nichols solo record, made for a major label and recorded at Bearsville Studio in upstate New York. It's got a polished “little bit of everything” feel to it; slicker than the Fellow Travellers and more focused. It was a critic's choice all across America and unreleased in Europe (with the exception of Norway).

Lorraine Morley - A Face Drawn In Sand (1995)

The only solo record by Fellow Travellers singer Lorraine Morley. An acoustic mix of folk, jazz and soulful vocals. It features performances by Dave Schramm, Jeb Loy Nichols, and Irish guitar master Declan Young, and includes the songs ‘Wayfaring Stranger’, ‘The Whole Town's Laughing At Me’ (by Teddy Pendergrass) and ‘Something Borrowed’. A neglected classic.

A Fellow Travellers dub record; a favourite with DJs. Re-interpretations of choice Fellow Travellers tunes, dubbed and remixed. It features the horn section of John Harborne and Steve Buckley. A dancehall classic.

Fellow Travellers - Love Shines Brighter (1993)

A one-off recording of an acoustic gig, this is Fellow Travellers at their most intimate and stripped-down; just Jeb Loy Nichols and Lorraine Morley, singing some early Fellow Travellers songs, some new songs, some versions of classic reggae tunes, and songs by Curtis Mayfield and Roberta Flack. This was issued as a limited-edition, mail-order only CD in Germany, and there are only a few left.

This was voted Record Of The Year by Spex Magazine in Germany and was a big hit in Europe. It was recorded quickly and easily; it's relaxed and laid-back, real back-porch music. It caught a special moment: summer in London, everyone in time at the right time.

The first record they made and the first experiments with a country-dub sound. It's raw and un-cut, a coming together of three essential ingredients - reggae, country and folk. It's where it all started. Featuring the tracks ‘G.T.O.’, ‘Bright Morning Star’, and H‘er Lullaby’.
